Crime Prevention Programs
The UCCS Department of Public Safety offers a number of programs that promote security awareness and crime prevention. All University Police officers are dedicated to crime prevention and facilitate programs for students, staff, faculty, and the community by providing a variety of educational strategies and tips on how to protect themselves and their property. In addition to departmental programs, the UCCS Police Department cooperates with other units on campus to present security and safety programs. A common theme of all programs is to encourage students and employees to be aware of their responsibility for their own security and the security of others.
